About MockNPrep

MockNPrep is a free online practice platform for Indian government-job aspirants, with a particular focus on Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), J&K Bank, SSC CGL, Ladakh and JKPSC recruitments.

What we offer

• Full-length mock tests — timed papers laid out like the real exam, with sectional tests, subject tests and a diagnostic test for each exam. The first paper of each kind needs no account.
• Topic-wise practice — every exam is split into subjects and topics, and every topic into Easy, Medium and Hard sets with answers and explanations.
• Retest your mistakes — the questions you got wrong are saved so you can retake them later and check that the gap has closed.
• PDF to mock test — upload a text-based question paper or question bank and practise it as a timed, exam-style test with a question palette and instant scoring.
• Study guides — syllabus breakdowns, J&K GK notes and study plans on the MockNPrep blog.

Why we built it

Most aspirants study from scattered PDFs and screenshots shared over WhatsApp and Telegram. That material is read-only: there's no timed practice, no feedback on which topics are weak, and J&K-specific General Awareness is rarely covered in depth by national coaching material. MockNPrep exists to make focused, topic-by-topic practice free and easy.

How our questions are made

Practice questions on MockNPrep are written with the help of AI and checked before they go live. We do not copy questions from official papers, coaching institutes or other websites. Facts are checked against official and well-documented sources, and numerical answers are verified before publishing. Read the full Editorial Policy for details.

Exams covered

28 exams: nine JKSSB posts (Junior Assistant, Class-IV & MTS, Finance Accounts Assistant, Panchayat Account Assistant, Sub-Inspector Executive and Telecommunication, Junior Engineer Civil and Mechanical, Assistant Training Officer), SSC CGL, J&K Bank Probationary Officer and Banking Associate, four Ladakh recruitment exams, and twelve JKPSC Assistant Professor subjects. Where our exam patterns come from

Where a board has published a notification, we follow it. Where it hasn't, the pattern is an estimate and the exam page says so. The Assistant Professor papers follow the commission's own syllabus (Higher Education Department, 28 September 2026); that notice doesn't state a marking scheme, so we assume 0.25 negative marking and say that on the page. Always check the official notification before you rely on any detail.

MockNPrep is built and run by Shivam, an independent developer based in India who has cleared multiple competitive exams, including IBPS, RRB, SSC CGL and IBPS Clerk. Practice questions and articles are written with the help of AI and reviewed under the standards in our Editorial Policy, with a focus on JKSSB, J&K Bank, SSC CGL, Ladakh and JKPSC content.
