Editorial Policy
How MockNPrep writes, checks and corrects its practice questions and articles.
Aspirants rely on practice material being correct. This page explains how MockNPrep creates its content and what we do when something is wrong.
1. Original content only
- Every practice question, explanation and article is written by MockNPrep.
- We do not copy questions from official question papers, coaching-institute material, books or other websites.
- Official syllabus documents are used only to decide which topics to cover, so practice matches what each exam actually tests.
2. Sources for facts
Factual questions (for example J&K history, geography, polity and schemes) are based on official and well-documented sources: Acts of Parliament and government notifications, official websites, census data, and standard reference works. We avoid facts that change frequently unless we can date them clearly.
3. Verification
- Numerical answers (maths, statistics, accountancy) are re-calculated independently before publishing.
- Each question has exactly one correct option, and distractors are checked so that no second option could also be argued correct.
- New questions are compared against the existing bank so the same question isn't repeated with only the numbers changed.
- Every question includes an explanation so you can see why an answer is right.
4. Difficulty levels
Questions are tagged Easy (direct recall or one-step), Medium (two or more steps or closer distractors) or Hard (multi-step reasoning or less common facts).
