Practice hub · 2026-10-16 · 8 min read

This page is your starting point for JKSSB practice. MockNPrep offers free, original topic-wise questions for the main JKSSB posts, sorted from Easy to Hard, with answers and explanations. Pick your post below.

1. Choose your post

Each post has its own pattern and marks. Read the guide first, then practise.

2. Practise by subject

J&K General Knowledge (20–40 marks in every paper)

Accountancy, PFMS and government accounting

Reasoning and quantitative

3. A simple routine

  • Learn the pattern of your post first
  • Start with the highest-weight subject for your post
  • Take a topic test untimed, then timed
  • Re-attempt only your wrong answers
  • Finish with a mixed, timed test in the last week

4. Your own PDFs

Have previous papers or a question bank as a PDF? Turn it into an online quiz on the Practice page; this works without an account.

How each tool works

  • Diagnostic test: 20 questions in 15 minutes spread across the subjects of your exam, with a score by subject
  • Topic practice: each topic has Easy, Medium and Hard sets with answers and explanations
  • Subject-wise tests: mixed questions from every topic in a subject, which trains you to answer without knowing the chapter
  • Sectional mocks: each section of a paper as its own timed test
  • Full-length mocks: a complete paper with the real number of questions, time and negative marking
  • PDF to test: turns a paper or question bank you already have into a timed test

What the difficulty levels mean

Easy questions test a single fact or rule. Medium questions ask you to apply the rule in a slightly new setting. Hard questions combine ideas or need careful reading and speed. Start each topic at the Easy level and move up when you score about 80%.

A sample week

  • Monday to Thursday: one subject a day, with two or three topics at the Easy and Medium levels
  • Friday: a subject-wise test and a review
  • Saturday: a sectional or full-length mock
  • Sunday: review your wrong answers and retest them

Tracking your progress

After each set, note the topic, the date, your score and the time taken. After two weeks, the table shows which topics improved and which did not. Spend the next week on the ones that did not.

Questions people ask

  • Where should I start? Take the diagnostic test for your exam, then follow its list of weak topics
  • How many questions a day? Between 40 and 60 questions with a careful review is better than 150 with none
  • When should I take full mocks? Once you have covered most topics, usually in the last four to six weeks

Questions candidates ask

Where do I start? Take the diagnostic test for your exam.

Do I need an account? The first Easy set of each topic is free to try, and a free account unlocks more and saves your results.
